FAQS
PMMA is more often known under the brands: Plexiglass, Altuglass, Altuglass, Perspex, Setacryl... This material can be cleaned with soapy water and a soft cloth without rough edges. Above all, do not apply alcohol-based products.
Not as standard but there are PMMA or PC with an anti-abrasion coating (Margard type) but much more expensive.
PMMA (Plexiglass, Altuglass, Perspex, Setacryl...) is anti-UV by nature, it will not turn yellow over time. It can be used outside and inside. It sticks (solders) very well. The PC turns yellow in the sun. It is more used in factories or to protect against shocks and projections because it is much more resistant than PMMA. It sticks less well but mechanical assemblies can be made by screwing into the slices.
All scrap materials are stored in bins and then we pay recyclers to transform them back into plates or granules.
